Green Rock Fest Ruse 2025 – three days of rock, inspiration, and responsibility

From September 20 to 22, 2025, Ruse will host the seventeenth edition of Green Rock Fest.

WITH FREE ENTRY for all days, the festival will offer a rich program that combines rock music, an environmental message, art, and social engagement.

 

The concert will take place at Svoboda Square on September 20 and 21 at 6:00 PM, featuring established bands from Bulgaria and abroad, as well as young performers - winners of the "Green Rock Inspirations" initiative - taking to the stage.

Among the participants are the following groups:

• Inconvenients
• Хаос
• Himera

Special guest on September 21st is world-renowned Italian vocalist Fabio Lione, known from Rhapsody, Angra, and numerous international collaborations. He will take the stage with the Serbian band Alogia.

 

The festival carries a strong environmental message. The audience will be able to vote – on site and online – for the most impressive original song performed by the participants in “Green Rock Inspirations”. The song with the most votes will be recorded in a professional studio after the event.

On the evening of September 21, the facade of the Ruse Municipality building will be transformed through a special 3D Mapping and light show on the theme "Environmental Protection".
The projection will be created by Stage Design BG, a team with extensive experience in stage design and visual art, led by Nikolay Voinov.
The team's portfolio includes names such as Lili Ivanova, Beloslava, Dara Ekimova, Carmina Burana, Macy Gray, Sonya Yoncheva, Ricchi e Poveri, as well as leading festivals in Bulgaria and abroad.

An art installation made of recyclable materials will be located throughout the festival, which will send a message of a conscious attitude towards nature through a creative approach.

 

The festival atmosphere will be complemented by several key elements:

• Children's zone, organized by the Youth Parliament - Ruse, with games and animation for the youngest guests.
• Donation corner in support of the Alexander Rusev Foundation, which supports children and youth with disabilities through water rehabilitation.
• Gastronomic zone, provided by "Municipal Markets" EOOD, with tents, tables, chairs and catering from an established company that has experience at the largest music and dance events in the country from the height of the concerts during the year of Guns N Roses, Burgas summer live, J Balvin, Jean -Mishel Jarre and the upcoming ones of Enrique Iglesias, Spice Music Festival and Hills of Rock, as well as at various festivals in Bulgaria.
• Stand of the boutique brand SICA CORSETS, where the audience will be able to view designer handmade corsets and meet the creator, Jessica Rizova.

On September 22, at 2:00 p.m., a workshop with Valdi Totev - a beloved Bulgarian musician and member of the group "Shturtsite" - will be held at the "Lomovete" Nature Conservation Complex near the village of Nisovo.

The theme is: "Inspirations in Rock Music and Its Impact on the Audience".
Organized transportation will be provided for visitors without personal transportation.
