The Municipality of Ruse took part in the 42nd edition of the tourist exchange "Vacation and SPA Expo", which was held from February 12 to 14 at the Inter Expo Center in Sofia.
At its 9 sq. m. stand, designed with an individual vision, it presented the various opportunities for cultural and historical, natural, water, and wine tourism, as well as other highlights of the city and the surrounding area. At it, representatives of the Tourism Department of the Municipal Enterprise "Ruse Art", as well as experts from the Regional Historical Museum - Ruse, provided potential business partners and visitors with materials and information about cultural events, tourist sites, places of accommodation, and attractions.
A culinary presentation on the topic "Garash Cake - the culinary temptation of Ruse" was also held on Saturday (14.02.2026) at 10:30 a.m. Representatives of the Municipality and the director of the Regional Historical Museum in Ruse, supported by chef Radi Stambolov and chef Daria Rusanova, told about the history of the "Garash" cake, presented the recipe for the sweet temptation, the method of preparation, and shared interesting and curious facts. Finally, visitors had the opportunity to try pieces of Garash cake prepared with love and care, specially created for the presentation by chocolatier chef Daria Rusanova.
We saw many smiles, shining eyes, and a desire for Ruse to be the next destination for a visit!
