With a diverse program filled with creativity, games, music and theater, the Municipality of Ruse, cultural institutions and organizations will celebrate International Children's Day - June 1 
The events will begin on Friday (May 30) with the 17th edition of "Children's Night at the Museum", organized by the Regional History Museum. From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with FREE ENTRANCE, various workshops and games for the little ones will be held in the Lapidarium, and from 8:00 PM, a guitar concert by the "House" Music School will take place in the "Ruse" hall of the museum.
At 7:00 PM, the concert of the talented students and their teachers from the National School of Arts "Prof. V. Stoyanov" will begin in front of the municipality building. It is called "Always More" and is for a charitable cause in support of the National High School of Applied Arts in Tryavna, whose roof burned down in April.
On Sunday, June 1, the 4th Festival of Families of Ruse will be held at Prince Alexander Battenberg Square, organized by the Association "Mission Gradezh". This year, partners include the Children's Theater School "Patilantsi" and the Regional Library "Lyuben Karavelov", whose children's department "Library" has prepared a creative workshop for beautiful and practical school items from eco-friendly materials.
Two free performances – at 11:00 and 12:30 - will be presented by the actors of the State Puppet Theater on Sunday (June 1). The favorite children's show "Masha and the Bear", based on a Russian folk tale, directed by Valentin Vladimirov-Valyaka, will have FREE ENTRANCE for the little ones, and their companions can purchase tickets at the theater box office.
"The Art of Childhood" will be revealed by the children from the "Marmalade" Art Workshop. An exhibition of their paintings will be opened at the "Block 14" Center for Art and Culture at 4:00 PM, and at 5:00 PM, the reading of fairy tales by children for children and the performances of acting students will begin.
A large-scale citywide celebration has also been prepared by the Municipal Children's Center for Culture and Art. It will be held on the open stage in front of the Courthouse at 5:00 p.m.
At the end of the day, the audience can immerse themselves in a kind of "Journey into the Musical" with the Ruse Children's Opera in the Great Hall of the Income Building with FREE ENTRANCE. The exciting musical performance is conducted by Svilen Dimitrov.
