Urban Wine Fest - Ruse 2025 is an invitation to everyone – residents, visitors to the city, travelers, and professionals – to join us in celebrating Bulgarian wine with inspiration, unforgettable encounters, and good taste.

On September 26 and 27, Ruse will kick off the wine autumn with its first edition of the Urban Wine Fest - Ruse, an urban festival that marks the beginning of the month dedicated to Bulgarian wine and International Mavrud Day.
A festival where wine, presented in an expert and independent manner, street food, beautiful music, culture, and the urban environment harmonize in a perfect BLEND.

The Bulgarian local grape varieties, with which Bulgarian winemakers give Bulgarian wine its authentic character, are the inspiration and cause of the festival.
The charming team of wine experts from the Bulgarian Association of Wine Professionals will infect you with their love for Bulgarian wine. At the wine bars, you will be presented with more than 40 expressive wines from over 15 local varieties.
The experts will captivatingly tell the stories that each sip strives to reveal—about the terroirs where these wines were born, about the people who put their heart and soul into each bottle, about the challenges, the successes, and the meaning.
Delicious dishes prepared at the culinary stands of local chefs will complement the atmosphere with contemporary flavors inspired by local products and seasonal accents. Violi Fasta Pasta with Chef Violina Marinova and Sushi Bar Ruse with Lyubo's top team will challenge you with new wine pairing suggestions. Rodopa Milk and Golyamo Vranovo will complement the culinary offerings with the traditional taste of local cheeses, yellow cheeses, and dry delicacies.
Conductor Maestro Dimcho Rupchev and Big Band Ruse will open the musical program. On Saturday, we will have an exciting meeting with Militsa Gladnishka, Nikolay Vodenicharov-Niketsa, and Ivan Velchev, and their symbiosis "The Fox and the Cats."
A selection of Romanian wines from their local varieties will be available for tasting in addition to the exceptionally rich palette of Bulgarian wines.
We will celebrate International Tourism Day on September 27 with a focus on wine tourism opportunities in Bulgaria and Romania. Wine routes from both sides of the Danube, new tourism products, and ideas for cooperation between the regions will be presented.

Admission to Urban Wine Fest - Ruse 2025 is free. Consumption will be paid on site.
For greater comfort, bring your favorite wine-tasting glass or take advantage of the opportunity to get one for a deposit.
The event is not suitable for persons under 18 years of age. Consume moderately and responsibly.
