Freedom Square is one of the few in Europe, in the center of which twelve streets converge. In its middle rises the Freedom Monument, and to the right of it is the magnificent building of the Income Building - two of the symbols of Ruse. Five fountains and the elegant park part of the square, built in 1905, create the "green heart" of the city. Here is also located the first Ruse fountain, the building of the Ruse Courthouse, and the Clock Building (the first private bank in our country, 1881).
